When you bring your quilt to a drop-off location (listed below) we will be checking these items...
QUILT CONDITION:
All quilts must be in a show-ready condition. They must be clean, odorless, without visible stains, and free of pet hair. Loose threads must be trimmed, and all elements of the quilt design must be securely sewn or attached to the quilt.
QUILT COVER:
All quilts must be delivered in a fabric bag or pillow case. (Using an additional plastic bag inside the fabric bag is up to you.)
The fabric bag must be clearly labeled with the:
Quilt number
Quilt title and/or last name of quilter
You may either write directly on the fabric bag, or baste a label on to it. No pins, please!

On the lower right corner of the back of your quilt, please include a SEWN-ON label with a minimum of the following information:
Quilt Title
Name of Quilter
Quilter's phone number

Informational labels that are taped or pinned will not be accepted.
QUILT NUMBER LABEL:
Please label your quilt with your assigned Harvest Quilt Show quilt number.
Write this number clearly and boldly on a piece of muslin or scrap fabric
Baste it over the informational label. (*Please also cover any other labels with the maker's name that are already on your quilt.*)
Quilt number labels that are taped or pinned will not be accepted.
HANGING SLEEVE SIZE:
All quilt hanging sleeves must be securely sewn on (or near) the top of the quilt on the back side, and must make a continuous pocket across the width of the quilt.
Quilts 24 inches wide and smaller must have sleeves that are a minimum of 2 inches tall.
Quilts 25 to 40 inches wide must have sleeves that are a minimum of 4 inches tall.
Quilts larger than 40 inches wide must have sleeves that are a minimum of 4 inches tall, and may have sleeves that are taller.
In all cases, roomier sleeves are welcome!
QUILT SIZE:
All quilts must be within 1” of their registered sizes. If the size varies in either direction greater than 1”, notify harvestquiltshow.ny@gmail.com immediately so we can be sure that there is space for it to hang in the show.
If quilt entries do not comply with these requirements by the end of the drop-off window, the quilt will be withdrawn from the show. Entrants may repair their quilts at the drop-off location (if possible) to have their quilt accepted into the show.
Quilts withdrawn from the show by either the quilter or the show committee will not be issued a registration fee refund.
Please remember that Q.U.I.L.T., Inc. and C.D.M.Q.G. will do our very best to ensure the safe handling of your quilts.
